Carol A. Riehle, 80, 54 Depot Street, Friendship, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on January 3, 1938, in Olean, she was a daughter of Robert and Mildred Clayton.

She was a graduate of Olean High School. She had worked for ACME Electric Corp of Cuba for 33 years prior to retiring.

Carol was a longtime member of the Allegany County 4-H program where she taught dog obedience for many years to numerous children. She was also a member of the Friendship American Legion Post 1168 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, stained glass, and loved all animals.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Brenda) Riehle of Belmont and Stephen (Jackie) Riehle of Duke Center, PA; three daughters, Michele (Michael) Bidwell, Sharon (Jerry) Glasspoole and Tracey (John) Brinkmann all of Friendship; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; her longtime loving companion of 33 years Jerry Faulkner of Friendship; and one step sister, Donna.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street Cuba, on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from Noon until 3:00 P.M. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Becky Worth, will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship, New York.
