Bruce R. Chandler

Bruce R. Chandler, 48, of 11487 Allegany Rd, Silver Creek, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Born on December 26, 1967, in Wellsville, New York he was a son of Gary and Brenda M. Eaton Nease.

Bruce graduated in June 1987 from Cuba Central School.

He worked for Sargent Transportation of Cuba for several years, before earning a Master Motorcycle Degree from American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Florida. Bruce worked several years at Arkport Harley-Davidson in Arkport , New York and Cox's Harley-Davidson, Rock Hill South Carolina. Returning to New York he worked for several years at Kevin Seneca Excavating and Trucking in Irving, New York and most recently for Gernatt Trucking in Gowanda.

Bruce loved riding and working on motorcycles. He competed nationally for several years in the All-Harley Drag Racing Association, winning the Pro Modified National Championship in 2011.

He will be remembered for his quit wit, sarcastic smile, and grin for friend or foe.

He is survived by his parents Gary and Brenda Nease of Cuba; a sister Billie Jo (Eric) Vossler of Wellsville; two nephews, Zane Vossler and Silas Vossler both of Wellsville; his paternal grandmother, Mary Nease of Cuba; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Clifton and Mary Eaton.

The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, for a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 1-4 P.M. only.
