Born on September 19, 1944, in Medina, she was a daughter Sherman and Ruth Barber Kidney, but was raised in the loving home of George and Minnie Riegle. On November 21, 1964, in Friendship, she married Elmer R. Rung, Jr., who survives.

She attended Medina High School, prior to moving to the southern-tier.

Audrey was a loving wife and homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She also worked outside the home for many years as a home healthcare aide for Southern-tier Home Healthcare, and also a waitress for Chris’ Restaurant in Friendship and Clancy’s Restaurant in Wellsville.

She enjoyed tending to her flowers and house plants, time with her cats, open mic nights at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center, dining out with her husband and car rides through the country.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Christopher Rung of Richmond, VA, Kevin (Christel) Rung of Trade, TN, Charlene (Kenneth) Pierce of Friendship, NY, Andrea (Terry) Stuck of Lumber Bridge, NC; seven grandchildren Jessica, Kohlton, Serene, Cassandra, Kevin Jr., Cherish, Autumn; six great-grandchildren Kendall, Karson, Archer, Kaydence, Huntleigh, Prairie; three sisters Carol Pritchard, Mary Reabold, Shirley Steier; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant whom passed shortly before birth, and also grandson Kory Pierce.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family at a date and time to be announced.
