Arnold E. Kratts, 89 formerly of 5943 Rte. 305 Cuba passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Cuba Memorial Hospitals Palliative Care Unit after a lengthy illness.
Born on October 11, 1925, in Olean, he was the son of John and Elizabeth Kratts. On July 9, 1955, in the Maplehurst Baptist Church he married the former Edythe Bogar who predeceased him on February 3, 2011.

| Mr. Kratts was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School. After graduation he worked on the family farm and then on October 6, 1950 he joined the United States Navy and served until July 14, 1954.
He began working for GLF in Hinsdale as a truck driver and store clerk until it closed. He then began working for the Cuba Agway where he was the Assistant Manager retiring in 1988.
Arnold enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and also doing carpentry work.
Surviving are a son, Ronald L. (Marilyn Reynolds, DVM) Kratts of Hinsdale; a daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Kratts of Bath;
and a grandson, John Kratts of Hinsdale.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 1-3 P.M.
Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery, Hinsdale, New York.
