She was employed by Millie B. Stevens Liquor Store in Cuba and later at Schryver's Market in Cuba from where she retired.

She will be remember as a simple woman who loved her family, reading, walks in the woods, digging leaks with her sister Irene, and long rides on the country back-roads. She always said she enjoyed "peace and quiet and a few nice words."

She is survived by her children, James (Kathy) Ayers of Cuba and Theresa Baldwin of Bolivar; grandchildren, Lee Greene, Heidi (Lee) Sadler, Jody Baldwin, John (Carol) Ayers, and Melissa (Aaron) Reichman; great grandchildren, Cassandra (Michael) Roeske, Jessica (Josh) Weaver, Kevin Greene, Justin Greene, Sabrina Baldwin, Lee Sadler, Jr., Kyle Sadler, Lakelynn Baldwin, Addison Reichman and Zaven Reichman; great grandchildren, Lillianna Greene, Hayle Greene, Wyatt Weaver, Tesslynn Weaver, Landen Schappacher, Hayden Schappacher, Hudson Roeske and Leira Sadler; a sister, Mary Nease of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Irene, and Helen, and in-laws Edwin and Emma Cole Ayers.

In honoring her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
